March 17, 2015 Board Meeting Agenda Item #26 Title APPROVAL OF EXPULSION CASE NO 15-077 Description The student listed in Expulsion Case No 15-077, is in violation of an accepted settlement agreement for alternative school placement due to positive drug tests. On September 24, 2014 the student violated School Board Policy 5.32 Petty Theft. It is the recommendation of the Superintendent that the student be expelled from Sarasota County Schools until June 1, 2015. Recommendation That in accordance with provisions of Sections 1006.07(1)(a)(b), Florida Statues and School Board Policy 5.34, the holding of a hearing having been waived by the student/parent, the recommendation as specified in Expulsion Case No 15-077, to expel the student reference therein from the Sarasota County Schools, be approved effective immediately until June 1, 2015.
